The Creighton Bluejays are off to an impressive 7-2 start and are ranked No. 11 in the country.

Now they come to Providence.

The Jays are 3-1 in the Big East but are far from elite. They lost to Marquette and needed overtime to win at Connecticut. The Jays, led by star guards Marcus Zegarowski and Mitch Ballock, remain an elite offensive team. If they can score 75/80 points they’ll always be very difficult to beat.

Few fan bases in the country are as passionate about their college basketball program more than Creighton’s. Tim Krueger of 1620 The Zone has co-hosted `Bluejay Banter’ for many years and gives us this look at Saturday’s (Noon tip) game.
