Greg Gantt and the PC Friars haven’t played since beating TCU Dec. 9.
The Big East schedule is set to open Sunday afternoon for the Providence Friars with a stiff test at Seton Hall. PC (4-2) has not played since an impressive win at TCU but three postponements to the start of Big East play leave the team without a game for a whopping 10 days.
Ed Cooley has compared the extended rest to a traditional exam break. The Friars have finished up their semester exams but we’ll see if they are ready for a busy start to conference play. Just to keep things straight here is the current schedule:
Dec. 20 at Seton Hall
Dec. 23 at Butler
Dec. 27 vs. DePaul
Dec. 30 vs. Butler.
Long-time PC basketball radio analyst Joe Hassett joins the YouTube Game Preview to break down the Friars and the Big East.
