It’s time to head back to Madison Square Garden for the Big East Tournament – at last!
This will be one of the most anticipated Big East Tournaments in years, for several reasons. First, there was no BET with fans for the last two years due to the breakout of the pandemic in 2020 and the attendance restrictions on last year’s event due to COVID-19.
Now we are back. Bring your vaccination card, you may need it to enter the Garden.
A few items from this 401 Podcast with Ed Cooley:
*Al Durham’s status: ‘I think every time we play it will be a game time decision the next day.’
* Xavier or Butler? ‘The whole league has been tight. Who do you want to play? Whoever is next on the schedule.’
*Big East awards: ‘Whether we have a first or second team (All-Big East) guy, I’m very proud of their buy-in to the team. The team.’
