Coach David Cox and his URI Rams face a big test at Wisconsin

For the first time in forever, Steve McDonald and Don Kaull are not courtside for University of Rhode Island basketball games.

Thanks to the pandemic, of course.

Steve and Don are calling the games on B101 but doing so off a TV feed from their homes. That’s the plan for Wednesday’s huge opportunity game at Wisconsin. A favorite to win the Big Ten, the Badgers lost a game with Louisville (thanks to the pandemic) and added URI.

We shall see if that ultimately was a wise decision.
